The 222’3/67.75m custom DISCOVERY Yacht Archimedes was built by Feadship in the Netherlands at their De Kaag shipyard. She was delivered to her owner in 2008 and last refitted in 2018. John Munford is responsible for her beautiful exterior and interior design.

ACCOMMODATION

Archimedes’ interior configuration has been designed to comfortably accommodate up to 16 guests overnight in 8 cabins, comprising a master suite, 4 double cabins and 3 twin cabins. She is also capable of carrying up to 18 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.

Archimedes yacht is equipped with an ultra-modern stabilization system which reduces roll motion effect and results in a smoother more enjoyable cruising experience underway. This luxury yacht is also fitted with at-anchor stabilizers’ which work at anchor, increasing on-board comfort when the yacht is stationary, particularly in rough waters.

PERFORMANCE

Powered by 2 Caterpillar 1,998hp diesel engines and propelled by her twin screw propellers, DISCOVERY Yacht Archimedes is capable of a top speed of 16 knots, and comfortably cruises at 12 knots. With her 171,000 liters fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 6,000 nautical miles at 12 knots. Her water tanks store around 53,400 liters of fresh water.
